CROWN launches CDi amplifier series
Crown International announced the launch of their new amplifier line
for installed sound, the CDi Series. Making the announcement for Crown
was Larry Baker, Director of Marketing for Installed Sound: "CDi is an
exciting new amplifier with amazing technology at a very competitive
price point.
This line brings a new level of world-class features and
performance to the installed sound market at an incredible value."The two models in the line include the CDi 1, which provides 500 watts per channel at 4 ohms, and the CDi 2 at 700 watts per channel into 4 ohms. Both models are two rack-space amplifiers with a host of features including low-impedance 8/4 ohm and 70V output. Automatic presets allow quick, easy system setup. An intuitive front panel LCD quickly steps installers through the process of adjusting system parameters. Computer connectivity via USB allows setup and control of the amplifier using the included HiQnet™ System Architect™ software.
