SONY & AVC Zagreb presented the latest HDV camcorders
Within the documentary film festival ZAGREBDOX 2008, SONY and AVC Zagreb presented the latest models from Sony Professional: HVR-Z7 and HVR-S270E.
Sony and AVC unveiled Sony's latest HDV camcorders to the world, the HVR-Z7 and the HVR-S270E. Both models offer interchangeable lenses, native progressive recording and solid-state memory recording. With the release of these new models HDV arrived as a true professional video acquisition technology.
SONY/AVC also presented Sony's model PMW-EX1, the first in a new range of professional HD products – called XDCAM EX –, which records onto memory-based SxS ExpressCard media, and Sony's Digital HD Video Camcorder HVR-HD1000E, made for users who are looking for an entry-level professional shoulder mount design with full 1080i HDV recording as well as retaining DV capabilities.
The SONY/AVC presentation attracted a number of interested buyers who visited the biggest documentary film festival of its kind in South East Europe, Zagrebdox. The fourth International ZAGREBDOX (February 25th – March 2nd) had the highest attendance rate ever, 25.000 visitors (filmmakers and other professionals from the region).
