Preatorian Palace
Platea Comunis is considered to be one of the most valuable town spaces, and the Pretor’s Palace the most prominent building adorning the main town square. The decision taken by the experts and the Municipality to locate the town hall in the restored Pretor’s Palace was therefore the logical outcome. Reconstruction works were concluded in 2001, and since then the palace, whose unique facade with heraldic decorations, stone carvings and other architectural details all of them telling the history and the destiny of the town, has been hosting the mayor’s offices again.
Koper’s old town centre is adorned by a renovated Praetorian Palace, where the city municipality has its seat. We equipped their hall with a multimedia system suited for the specifics of a bilingual area. It comprises of a digital voting system, conference system, with a system for displaying results on a big screen, a hall sound system and a presentation system.
